Due to we are close to the outer channel in Cape Coral you drive in a quiet location along the mangroves to the ending of the Caloosahatchee River and from there into the open sea. Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, Capitva, Cayo Costa, Boca Grande, Estero and Naples are within easy reach. The journey to the lock is just over an hour.

Authorization to drive a boat
In Florida, you can drive a boat with a valid driver's license and a minimum age of 21 years. People born after 1987 must be in possession of a safety card to drive a boat (not a boating license). There are exceptions, for example, if this person is accompanied by another person who is already in possession of this card or is exempted from the regulation (for example, by age).
